…something like scales fell
from Saul’s eyes…

~Acts 9:18

When Saul met Jesus on the road to Damascus, the soon-to-be Paul tells us that “something like scales” fell from his eyes. We often think of Saul’s experience as an overnight transformation. One day, he was a hot mess. The next, he was following Jesus, encouraging fellow believers, and authoring Scripture—his faith unshakable.

In Paul’s case, however, and in my own, allowing God to remove the scales from our eyes is a continual, if not daily process. In this world, the scales are unrelenting. But also unwavering is the truth of God all around us: a descaling is possible.

Our Kids are Reading Less and Scrolling More

Plus, Why It Matters   Getting lost in a good book played a crucial role in my childhood. I was a highly sensitive child who got in a lot of trouble at home. When I was sent to my room, reading de-escalated my anger. By immersing…

Hi! I’m Jenna.

MY WHY:

  • 15 years of youth mentoring

I’ve spent most of my adult years hanging out with teens. By choice! Doing life side-by-side, we’re learning to invite Jesus to take the scales off our eyes and filter our culture through the lens of Jesus.

  • Mother of 3

I’m a mother of three school-aged children. It’s not all sunshine and Disney movies, but I wouldn’t trade it! Finding time to invest in them spiritually is always a moving target, but I’m passionate about it.

  • Lifelong Disney Fan!

Confession: I cry during the 3 pm parade at Magic Kingdom. One of my favorite ways to reveal God in unexpected places is through characters coming to life on the big screen. Click the Disney Gospels tab to learn more!

How It Works

At the dinner table or in the family taxi, growing together in faith doesn’t have to be difficult. You can find the truth of God in your everyday.
